  • Hi everyone, it's Rax bringing you another endgame build guide for Diablo 4's launch, and if you watched the video that I just posted before, they have confirmed that there's going to essentially be no balance changes on launch.
  • So I'm predicting, if that's true, that Whirlwind will probably be the best build in the game, and if you want my opinion on what's the second best build in the game, it's probably this Pulverized Druid written by my great friend Mr. Teo,
  • A super godly Diablo 2 player, and I'm sure he's going to be a godly Diablo 4 player.
  • He actually played Diablo 3 as well.
  • A lot of people probably don't know that.
  • Let's talk about the Pulverized Endgame Druid, and the full guide will be on Maxroll, so I'm probably not going to go through every single little tiny thing.
  • I'll put the link in the description, and I'll put a link to Teo's stream if you'd like to watch him, but let's just understand the basic ideas of what's going on here.
  • So Pulverized, you're a werebear, and you do a big smash, right?
  • Well, there are some legendary powers that make it significantly better.
  • Pulverized now creates a shockwave that travels forward just as this massive AoE, and it does 260% of the damage to the targets in its path.
  • This is a huge multiplier and completely transforms this build.
  • If this power was available in the Codex of Power, this would be one of the best leveling builds in the entire game, but you have to actually find this, and when you do, you're going to be crushing everything.
  • Core skills do more damage based on your Fortify.
  • That's just going to give you more damage.
  • Druids are amazing at Fortify.
  • Duration of Grizzly Rage is increased by 5 seconds in Critical Strike.
  • The Grizzly Rage increases your Critical Strike damage by 10%.
  • Okay, so Grizzly Rage is your ultimate.
  • It's one of the best ultimates in the game, and it's so good that with all the synergies in the build, our goal is to have infinite Grizzly Rage.
  • Have the ultimate up all the time, and then you're just going to be crushing the entire game.
  • And with the Critical Strikes and the Critical Strike damage, Critical Strike and Critical Strike chance and Critical Strike damage, along with Vulnerable Damage and Attack Speed, are one of the only separate multipliers in the bucket where everything gets kind of watered down in the endgame.
  • So pretty much every build is going to be focusing on Crit, Crit, Attack Speed, Vulnerable, wherever it makes sense.
  • So that makes this power absolutely godly.
  • Pulverize is now an Earth skill, and it does Tectonic Spikes.
  • Pulverize becoming an Earth skill is now going to open up a ton of things, not only for Earth skills, but also for Nature skills.
  • At least when we tested this in the beta, they said they're not making any changes.
  • Earth skill, when it converted, actually counted as Nature skill.
  • This just opens up a ton of passives in the Druid tree to make Pulverize even stronger.
  • Your Earth skills are now Werebear Skills and Fortify You.
  • This is an absolutely godly unique you're going to be looking for in the endgame.
  • Increased Armor for 4 seconds when you deal any form of damage, while we do massive amounts of damage with the huge Shock Wave.
  • Earth skills do 50% more Critical Strike damage to crowd-controlled enemies.
  • Guess how we crowd-control enemies?
  • The legendary power of Quicksand.
  • Earth skills slow enemies by 50%.
  • Remember, Pulverize is now an Earth skill.
  • This is the cool thing about Druids.
  • Druids have so many incredible synergies that work in the endgame that it makes up for them doing 17 damage while they level up.
  • Duration of Earthen Bulwark is increased by 6 seconds, and it's going to replenish some of your barrier.
  • It's just godly.
  • Druids are also notoriously very tanky, which is going to be the hardest part of the endgame.
  • If we look at the skills, obviously we take Pulverize.
  • The upgrade that we want is the one that makes enemies do 20% less damage to stay alive.
  • Earth Spike is just our generator.
  • Nothing too exciting there.
  • Earthen Bulwark is going to help us stay alive, especially when we're out of Grizzly Rage form.
  • Then we're going to activate this with that power.
  • Debilitating Roar.
  • Nearby enemies deal 70% less damage.
  • 70. So when you're fighting a tough monster and you're in a bad situation, give him a roar.
  • You're going to stay alive.
  • It's going to mean a lot.
  • Tramples your movement ability or to reposition yourself in Grizzly Rage.
  • Look at this ultimate.
  • Shapeshift into an unstoppable Dire Werebear.
  • So yes, that means if it's up permanently, you are always unstoppable.
  • You're immune to crowd control.
  • Get 20% bonus damage, 20% damage reduction, and it increases by 3% every second you're in the form.
  • Kills extend its duration, which is one of the reasons why you can keep it up all the time.
  • And you gain 8% of your base life as Fortify.
  • There's a lot of Fortify things in the Druid tree to stay alive.
  • This ultimate is godly.
  • So you're just going to crush the entire game.
  • Then for the spirit boons, you get one from each of the little spirits.
  • Then you get to pick two of them.
  • Every 10th kill with Earth gives you an overpower.
  • Fortify for 10% of your life.
  • Stay alive.
  • Critical strike damage.
  • Crit crit.
  • Vulnerable attack speed.
  • Always godly.
  • 10% reduced damage from elites.
  • And the nature skills.
  • Remember, now it's Earth.
  • Nature skills have up to a 15% chance to reduce the cooldown of your ultimate.
  • So in this build for things like this and for the Capstone passive, Lucky Hit is actually very good.
  • So whenever you can get Lucky Hit, you'll pick that up as well.
  • Okay, so we pretty much just went through all of this.
  • And we pretty much went through a lot of the different skills.
  • So let's look at some of the passives.
  • Abundance is going to give you more spirit.
  • That's something that you're always solving for in Druid.
  • Wild Impulses.
  • Massive damage increase.
  • Have to take that.
  • Critical strike chance is one of the god things in damage reduction in Werebear form.
  • We're always in Werebear form.
  • 9% increased damage to distant enemies.
  • The shockwave has tremendous distance.
  • And if you slow them, it's double the damage.
  • Remember the quicksand passive, or power I mean?
  • You're going to be slowing them.
  • Then you can take this entire Earth tree because you converted it to Earth.
  • More damage to slowed.
  • They're always slowed.
  • Critical strikes fortify you.
  • Fortify in life.
  • Tremendous synergy for Druids all the time.
  • Fortify again.
  • Then it gives you more damage.
  • You get the idea.
  • Then finally, you can do all the nature stuff too.
  • Nature skills that consume spirit heal you.
  • And then they do increased damage.
  • And it's triple if you go between a Storm and an Earth skill.
  • Again, tremendous synergy.
  • It's similar to the leveling build that I said with Stormstrike.
  • Pulverize.
  • Going back and forth so you can take this tree.
  • And then Earth skills do more damage to vulnerable enemies.
  • And you're going to get vulnerable from your exploit glyph.
  • And then finally, Earthen Might.
  • This is why the lucky hit is good.
  • Damage to Earth skills has a 5% chance.
  • And it's increased by 10, by the way, if you get a crit, a stun, or a knockback, or an immobilize.
  • To restore all of your spirit.
  • And to cause your attacks to be guaranteed crits.
  • So just imagine this for a moment.
  • Imagine this build.
  • I wish I couldn't find any footage of it.
  • I found footage of a very low level, badly geared Pulverize Druid.
  • But your Pulverize is Earth.
  • And it's Werebear.
  • And you just do this.
  • Huge shockwave that does incredible damage.
  • And it has a chance to restore all of your spirit.
  • And you can be guaranteed to get crits.
  • Are you starting to understand?
  • I see these Druids just walk around just destroying the game.
  • And by the way, you have Grizzly Rage all the time.
  • So you have your ultimate up all the time that you're doing this.
  • And you're almost unkillable.
  • I mean, this build is pretty good.
  • I mean, it's pretty good.
  • So you have to try it.
  • You have to try it if you're a Druid.
  • Okay, skill usage and rotation.
  • You activate Grizzly Rage.
  • Use Earthen Bulwark when Grizzly Rage isn't up.
  • Pulverize is the main damage.
  • We understand that.
  • Anything else I want to say?
  • Trample to reposition.
  • Debilitating Roar when you're in trouble.
  • Okay, pretty much said all that.
  • How to scale your damage and defense.
  • You guys can probably read through that.
  • It's all the same things.
  • All those passives and all those legendaries that we're taking are solving like one problem at a time for us.
  • Whether it's getting the slow to actually do damage to crowd control and activating some of those passives.
  • This all plays into these two things.
  • Stat priorities, already talked about it.
  • It's always vulnerable damage.
  • Critical strike damage.
  • Critical strike chance.
  • Lucky hit is very good in this build if you can get it.
  • Willpower is good for Druid.
  • Spirit cost reduction.
  • Don't underestimate that.
  • Spirit cost reduction or any kind of spirit generation is going to help you throw more pulverizes.
  • Sapphires and armor are going to give you more damage while you're fortified.
  • You're always fortified.
  • Royal skulls and your jewelry is going to keep you alive because armor also gives you all resist.
  • And sapphires are going to give you more damage to crowd controlled enemies.
  • Now, remember, if you have a very high uptime with vulnerable, you should consider dropping this and instead picking up emeralds because emeralds actually works on bosses and sapphire doesn't because you can't slow them.
  • Okay, we already went through most of the bis items and we already talked about the stats.
  • I'll let you read this on your own if you would like to go for Druid.
  • Leveling to 50. I have a guide already for leveling to 50 on pulverize.
  • Teo's build is very, very similar.
  • You can find it on Maxroll as well.
  • Similar idea.
  • You go pulverize.
  • He did a little bit more werebear and he took grizzly rage while he was leveling.
  • In my leveling guide, I did say that you could take grizzly rage if you'd like.
  • So very, very similar.
  • Then, I mean, legendary aspect progression.
  • Here's where you can go for the codex of power to get a lot of the powers that you need.
  • So that's super nice.
  • You can get almost your whole build by just going to the codex of power.
  • That makes it easy.
  • And then endgame, what is there to say?
  • I mean, you farm nightmare dungeons and pray for these uniques to finish it off.
  • Um, the paragon board.
  • Haven't looked too much at the Druid paragon board.
  • So can't speak too intelligently on this.
  • I would honestly just say follow whatever Teo said.
  • I could sit here and go through every node and look at what Teo did.
  • But honestly, it's just better if you do it.
  • I'm sure Teo just did more of the same exact things that we've been talking about in the videos so far.
  • I don't know.
  • Better than Teo on paragon boards for Druids.
  • So I would just read his right up here and just go through it as he has advised you.
  • But I do know one thing.
  • I do know exploit gives you vulnerable.
  • And I do know vulnerable is absolutely godly.
  • So this is why you start with this.
  • You don't know why I know that.
  • Because it's the same thing for bar.
  • Endgame activities.
  • I mean, it's all pretty much the same.
  • You're always a giant bear with your ultimate up.
  • And you always pentakill the entire screen with your pulverize.
  • Gather a bunch of enemies and hit them all to try to trigger that capstone passive, which will reset, give you full spirit again, and then let you crit all the time.
  • It's the same thing.
  • Or just run around and, I don't know, be a bear.
  • I think this build is just going to crush.
  • I think it's going to crush every aspect of the game.
  • And I think it's going to be one of the builds I can actually say in the highest nightmare dungeons that can actually survive.
  • And the debilitating roar is not bad for groups either.
  • You might be able to tweak this build a little bit if you're playing with a team.
  • Because the druid gives a lot of amazing things to their party.
  • So people would really like to play with you.
  • I think the best combo of a team, if I could pick two...
  • I'm playing barb.
  • If I could pick anybody to play with, I would pick a druid.
  • I think a druid would pick a barb as well.
  • You'd just be two unkillable little buddies just slaughtering everything.
  • This build is absolutely incredible.
  • Day one patch they have confirmed.
  • You're not going to do any balance changes.
  • You've got to try this on launch.
  • I promise you it's going to crush.
  • Thank you.
